Wadworth is recruiting a Chef de Partie for The George Inn, a historic pub in Lacock. You will lead your kitchen section, prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, and work with the Head Chef and team to deliver excellent hospitality.

You’ll mentor junior cooks, uphold food safety and cleanliness, and contribute ideas to keep delivering memorable dining experiences for guests. Accommodation may be provided, with various benefits offered by Wadworth.

Qualificações

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment and confidence in managing a section.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to mentor junior chefs and support the wider kitchen team.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen during service.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification and the highest standards.
• Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained at all times.
• Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
• Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contributing ideas and supporting the continued success of the kitchen operation.
