Job summary

Chickpea Group is seeking a Chef de Partie for a full-time role (40-48hrs) in our busy kitchen. You’ll join a growing pub-with-rooms and pizza spots group, cooking high-quality dishes and learning from skilled chefs in a supportive team.

Salary is £8.20–£14 per hour depending on age and experience. We offer training, progression, team discounts, birthday voucher, pension, and a healthy work-life balance with regular days off. Uniform provided; supplier trips; monthly rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or hospitality role.
• Love for food and a hunger to learn and improve.
• Pride in detail and getting dishes just right.
• Positive, reliable and prepared to get stuck in.
• Natural team player with energy and willingness to develop themselves and others.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes with consistency and care.
• Learning from and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to build culinary skills.
• Maintaining hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Help mentor and train junior kitchen team members.
• Keeping the kitchen organised, efficient and stocked.
• Taking pride in presentation and ensuring every plate looks and tastes amazing.
• Working as part of a passionate team to deliver top-notch dining experiences.
