Job summary

Perfect Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie for a well-established countryside hotel in the Newton Aycliffe area. You will join a busy kitchen team, taking responsibility for your own section and contributing to high standards across restaurant service, weddings and events.

You will work alongside the Sous Chef and Head Chef under new Executive leadership, with a focus on quality, safety and ongoing development of your culinary skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step.
• Experience with fresh ingredients and quality food.
• Ability to run your own section during busy service.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety.
• Reliable, positive and hardworking.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• Able to work as part of a busy kitchen brigade.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section during busy service.
• Work with the Sous Chef, Head Chef and brigade to prepare and deliver quality dishes.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.
• Develop skills under the new Executive Chef.
• Contribute to a kitchen team being built and developed under a new leadership.
