Full-time role, 45 hours per week, with a salary between £29,000 and £32,000 depending on experience. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and develop your culinary talents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation and food safety protocols.
• Excellent kitchen experience and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures and customer service expectations.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage specific sections of the kitchen (grill, sauté, or pastry) for smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area per food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and timely service.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating needs.
• Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance to uphold quality standards.
• Ensure all food served meets safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
