Upstairs at the Grill in Chester is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its established kitchen brigade, delivering premium steaks and a refined dining experience.

You will work closely with Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards, train junior chefs, and uphold rigorous hygiene. This is a fantastic opportunity for career development within a professional, quality-led kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie.
• Passion for fresh food, quality produce and fine dining standards.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Run your section efficiently and consistently during service
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, premium ingredients
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards
• Support junior chefs with training and day-to-day guidance
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and section organisation
