Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established hotel in East Devon for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team. You will prepare high-quality dishes, support senior chefs, and help deliver an outstanding dining experience for guests.

The role offers live-in accommodation, a competitive salary from £27,000 per annum, 37 hours per week, and opportunities for training and progression within the hotel group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high‑quality dishes with the Head Chef.
• Take responsibility for your kitchen section and presentation.
• Assist with ordering ingredients to meet daily needs.
• Complete stock requisitions and maintain records.
• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored safely.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic workstation and proper equipment care.
• Assist with menu prep and adapt to daily specials.
• Deliver food efficiently with excellent quality and portion control.
• Minimise waste through prep and stock management.
• Follow health & safety, HACCP and fire safety procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure smooth service.
• Support and guide junior team members.
• Be flexible to work across different group establishments.
