Bedruthan Hotel & Spa in Newquay, Cornwall, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. You will oversee your section, collaborate with Senior Chefs and learn across multiple stations while delivering high quality dishes using seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in similar role in hotel, restaurant or hospitality.
• Good knowledge of classic cooking techniques.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Passion for quality ingredients and great food.

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality dishes consistently and to an exceptional standard.
• Work flexibly across sections of the kitchen, including Sauce, Ogo, Plant, Fish & Grill, Breakfast and Pastry.
• Assist in development and testing of new recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Complete mise en place efficiently and to required standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation and food safety compliance.
• Train, support and supervise Commis Chefs and apprentices within your section.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support in-house dining and retail production.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
