Job summary

De Vere Tortwort h Court in Wotton Under Edge is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a fast-paced kitchen brigade. You will own your section, prepare and present dishes across breakfast, conferences, restaurant and events, while supporting junior chefs and maintaining hygiene standards.

The role is full-time with a rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for progression within De Vere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef within a busy kitchen environment.
• Confident running your own section and delivering high standards during service.
• Great eye for detail and pride in food you prepare and present.
• Enjoy being part of a brigade and helping less experienced chefs develop.
• Organised and able to work calmly and efficiently when service gets busy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food across breakfast, conference lunches, restaurant and bar menus, weddings and events.
• Take ownership of your section, cook and present dishes to a high standard.
• Support Commis and Demi Chefs, helping them develop skills and confidence.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
• Ensure your section is organised and ready for service.
