Job summary

leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a 30-hour per week contract. You will manage your section, maintain high standards of food quality, and support smooth service operations at our Hull site. A passion for great food and teamwork is essential.

In this role you will contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, while upholding food safety and hygiene standards and supporting junior team members where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Passion for food quality and presentation.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards.
• Desire to learn, develop and progress within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your designated kitchen section during service.
• Prepare and present food to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Support the smooth running of kitchen operations across all services.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and in line with company standards.
• Monitor stock levels and support stock rotation and control.
• Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene across the kitchen.
