DoubleTree by Hilton Hull is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen on a 30-hour contract, responsible for their section and upholding high food quality and service standards. This is a key role supporting smooth service and consistent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Passion for food quality and presentation.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Desire to learn, develop and progress within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your designated kitchen section during service.
• Prepare and present food to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Support the smooth running of kitchen operations across all services.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and in line with company standards.
• Monitor stock levels and support effective stock rotation and control.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members where appropriate.

Chef de Partie - 30 hour contractThis stunning four-star hotel is centrally located within Hull, on Ferensway, minutes from the train station and St Stephens Shopping Centre. The hotel is opposite the Hull Truck Theatre and is a short stroll to the bustling downtown and marina area. This contemporary-style hotel offers a stylish stay for corporate guests and also accommodates leisure guests and family stays with its spacious and relaxing environment.
The hotel boasts 165 bedrooms and a 1,000sqm ballroom for events and conferences. There is a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill offering hearty meals and a pleasurable atmosphere. Guests will enjoy relaxing with food and drinks in our lounge bar or may choose to visit our rooftop bar The Lexington for panoramic views of Hull and a handmade cocktail on the terrace.
