Cook Trading Limited in Sittingbourne, Kent, is hiring a Chef de Partie / Team Leader for our Pastry & Pies kitchen. You will own your section, ensure freshness and quality, and contribute to high-volume service.

Qualifications

Join Our COOK Family as a Chef de Partie / Team Leader in our Pastry & Pies kitchen

Location:Sittingbourne, Kent - COOK Pastry & Pies

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 2pm

Pay rate :£ £30,556.50

The Role

• Take ownership of your section, ensuring every ingredient meets our exacting standards of freshness and quality.
• Prepare each dish with care, maintaining precise portion control and consistency.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef, contributing to daily planning, problem-solving, and service excellence.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness — because we believe a clean kitchen is a professional one.
• Collaborate across sections to deliver a smooth, efficient service in a busy, high-volume kitchen built on trust and respect.

Good to Have

• Previous experience as a chef.
• NVQ Level 1 and 2 (or equivalent in catering).
• Ability to efficiently manage your section of the kitchen.

This is a hands-on, active role, so you’ll need to be comfortable being on your feet for much of the day and with regular lifting, carrying, bending and reaching. We’ll always consider reasonable adjustments where these are needed.
