Job summary

Cook Trading Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Pantry department in Sittingbourne, Kent. This casual role supports receiving, checking, and storing goods, maintaining stock records in Excel, and ensuring safe storage and cleanliness in the warehouse.

You will assist with stock rotation, cycle counts, and general warehouse tasks, with flexibility in shifts. Strong Excel, good communication, and a valid driving licence are essential.

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent - COOK Pastry & Pies

Hours: Casual Pantry Team Member -various and flexible shifts

Pay rate : Day Shift £14.00 per hour / Night Shift £15.50 per hour

The Role

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods
• Maintaining accurate stock records using Excel
• Ensuring goods are stored safely and securely
• Assisting with stock rotation and regular stock counts
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Supporting general warehouse operations as needed

Essential requirements:

• Strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift items up to 25kg
• Full driving licence

Good to Have

• Previous warehouse experience
• Forklift licence/experience
• Experience using Outlook and Word
