Job summary

The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and help deliver a first-class hospitality experience.

You will prepare ingredients, cook dishes to recipe standards, and ensure safe, clean kitchen operations while supporting shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. This role offers progression opportunities within a world‑class brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proactive, reliable and able to support shifts including weekends/bank holidays.
• NVQ Level 1 and/or 2 preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
• Cook food and prepare top‑quality menu items in a timely manner.
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.

The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team!

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie wanting to deliver a first‑class experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.
