Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Chef de Partie for a busy 4* hotel in Kettering. You will work across all kitchen sections and assist the Head Chef to maintain high standards for brasserie, functions and room service.

The role is 45 hours per week over five days, with opportunities to work to 1-2AA Rosette standards and enjoy benefits including meals, gym/spa access and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experienced Chef with a track record in busy hotel kitchens.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage brigade in absence.
• Experience in hotel catering, preferably corporate/B&B environments.

Responsibilities

• Work across all kitchen sections.
• Assist and deputise for Head Chef and manage kitchen duties.
• Maintain 1-2AA Rosette standard in food preparation.
• Prepare meals for brasserie, functions and bar/room service.
• Ensure Health & Safety & Hygiene regulations at all times.

Our client based at this busy 4* property in Kettering is recruiting a Chef de Partie to complete their brigade. This is an opportunity to join a superb hotel that has an excellent reputation for its food in a busy all fresh food restaurant as well as functions and weddings. The role is 45 hours a week worked ove 5 days from 7.

The Role

• Working on all kitchen sections
• Assisting & Deputising for the Head Chef - kitchen management duties
• Working to 1-2AA Rosette standard

• Ensuring Health & Safety & Hygiene regulations at all times

The Person

• Already an experienced Chef
• Experience of working in a busy Hotel ideally with some corporate/C&B experience
• Excellent communication skills as will manage brigade in chefs absence
• Capable and able to work unsupervised
