Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen and lead a section while assisting the Head/ Sous Chef in daily operations. You will be preparing high quality fresh food, maintaining high standards, and guiding junior chefs.

The role offers progression towards Head Chef and includes a clear development pathway as part of our growing pub group. We operate charming pubs across Southern England, with opportunities to advance in a friendly, hands-on team environment in well-supported

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs.
• To complete all training in a timely manner.
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them.
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements.
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities.
