Job summary

The Hawk Inn in the United Kingdom is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will run a section, uphold high standards, and support the Head Chef with smooth kitchen operation.

We offer up to £13.50 per hour plus a share of Tronc, flexible shifts, and strong progression opportunities toward Head Chef, plus staff discounts and a lifestyle card for you and guests. This role rewards teamwork and culinary flair.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
