Aramark UK is seeking a Chef to join our team at Baker Barracks, Emsworth, supporting the Army base with tasty, safe meals and great service.

The role covers preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, managing stock, mentoring new colleagues, and ensuring standards of food safety and hygiene while minimising wastage.

Qualifications

• A relevant culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1/Level 2 or equivalent).

• Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (UK residency for the past 3 years required).
• Own transportation due to limited public transportation.

Location: Officers Mess, Baker Barracks, Emsworth, PO10 8DHSalary: £24,287.09 (£13.31 per hour)Contract type: Permanent,full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (including some weekends)Shift times: Earlies 06:30 - 14:00 or Lates 15:30 - 21:00

We're looking for a Chef to join our team at Baker Barracks and help create a welcoming space for our customers. Supporting one of the Army's key air defence bases, you'll be part of a dedicated team where your contribution is valued, and your work helps ensure the smooth running of an important military establishment.

You will be responsible for managing production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage and be supportive of new team members to support them with their learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
