Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a full-time kitchen role in Bromsgrove. The programme lasts 15 months and combines paid work with work-based training, allowing you to gain a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to kitchen operations.

You will be supervised by experienced chefs and supported by a mentor, with opportunities to progress to higher level apprenticeships as you develop your skills and responsibilities in a busy brand

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Address guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and tidy.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Stay up to date with promotions and new products.
• Complete all training modules and learning activities.
