Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Brentwood is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship, a full-time role in the kitchen under chef supervision. You will train while gaining a nationally recognised qualification and contribute to running the kitchen to ensure quality for guests.

The apprenticeship lasts 15 months, with on-the-job training and remote coaching. No prior experience is required, and there are opportunities for progression within the brand.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to ensure outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
