Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead and grow the Structural Engineering division.

The successful candidate will act as Structural Team Lead, providing regional leadership and hands-on project delivery across multiple offices in the UK. You will manage budgets, mentor junior staff, and coordinate resources while maintaining technical excellence and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Chartered member of an engineering institution (e.g., IStructE or ICE).
Hands-on project delivery with mentoring and staff development.
Experience in water retaining structures.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and line management for the Structural Group.
Provide technical expertise in structural design using state-of-the-art techniques.
Coordinate and drive integrated work with Pune for collaboration.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
Influence others through strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
Plan, forecast and coordinate resources with group managers.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and liaise with clients to build trust.
Provide staff training and on-going development within the team.
