Job summary

TED Recruitment seeks a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager in the Birmingham area to join a long-established multi-disciplinary practice. The role focuses on high-value residential cladding remediation projects alongside education, healthcare and commercial work.

You will be an MRICS QS with an interest in project management or a PM with strong cost-management experience, capable of pre and post-contract duties, using JCT contracts and delivering robust financial reporting.

Qualifications

• MRICS QS with project management interest or PM with cost-management experience.
• Experience with cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering.
• Experience across pre and post contract work.
• Experience using JCT contracts.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in a consultancy / PQS environment.
• Able to organise meetings and take minutes.

Responsibilities

• Work on cladding remediation and high-value residential projects.
• Manage cost control, procurement and tendering through the project lifecycle.
• Carry out pre- and post-contract activities and financial reporting.
• Provide contract administration and tendering support.
• Coordinate meetings, minutes and stakeholder updates.
• Balance QS duties with project management responsibilities.
