Job summary

My client in Birmingham seeks a Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager with 2+ years' post-graduation experience who is APC-leaning toward RICS, to handle high-value cladding remediation and other schemes in residential towers, healthcare, education and commercial sectors.

You will manage cost control, procurement, tendering and contract administration, with a view to combining quantity surveying and project management across a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Two+ years post graduation experience with a consultancy or PQS
• APC towards becoming RICS qualified
• Experience in cost control, contract admin, procurement and tendering
• Ability to prepare cost plans, budgets and tender docs
• Proficiency with JCT contracts and meetings/minutes handling
• Interest in a mix of quantity surveying and project management
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value cladding remediation projects and other sectors
• Deliver projects from inception to completion with financial control
• Ensure timely delivery and quality across education, healthcare and commercial schemes
