Job summary

TED Recruitment is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager for a SE London / Kent borders office. The role focuses on high-value projects, with current need on cladding remediation for large residential buildings, plus other residential, education and healthcare schemes.

You will be MRICS qualified or a Project Manager with strong cost-management skills, experienced in pre- and post-contract work, JCT contracts, cost control, procurement and reporting throughout the project

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager with cost management experience.
• Experience with a firm of consultants / PQS.
• Experience in cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering, with financial reporting across the project lifecycle.
• Pre and post-contract work experience.
• Experience of using JCT contracts.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Willing to mix quantity surveying and project management.
• Good prospects for rapid promotion.

Responsibilities

• Work on cladding remediation projects for large residential buildings.
• Handle pre and post-contract cost management.
• Cost control, procurement, tendering, and financial reporting.
• Contract administration, organize meetings and take minutes.
• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to a mix of residential, education, healthcare and commercial projects.
