Job summary

TED Recruitment is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager (MRICS) to join their SE London / Kent borders office. Projects include high-value residential builds with cladding remediation, plus education, healthcare and commercial schemes.

You will handle pre- and post-contract work, cost control, procurement, tendering and financial reporting, with strong contract administration and excellent communication skills; experience with JCT contracts is essential, and rapid promotion

Qualifications

• MRICS Quantity Surveyor or PM with cost management experience.
• Experience at a consulting/PQS firm.
• Experience in cost control, contract administration, procurement and tendering.
• Able to perform pre- and post-contract work.
• Familiar with JCT contracts.
• Strong meeting minutes and administration skills.
• Keen to mix quantity surveying and project management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost management for large-value projects.
• Manage procurement and tendering processes.
• Oversee contract administration and change control.
• Prepare financial reports across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and chair meetings, take minutes.
• Support pre- and post-contract activities.
