Job summary

Hollis in Bristol is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor or Project Manager to join our team. The role offers a varied mix across commercial property instructions including refurbishment, dilapidations, tenant alterations and professional surveying while you develop your own specialisms.

You will deliver technical advice, manage projects and build strong client relationships. The role suits MRICS or APC, with experience across offices, retail and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or APC near completion.
• Experience across commercial real estate sectors (office, retail, industrial, leisure).
• Experience on dilapidations, project delivery, tenant alterations and technical due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of building surveying instructions across commercial property portfolios.
• Lead or support refurbishment, fit-out and improvement projects for a lucrative client portfolio.
• Advise on dilapidations for landlords and tenants.
• Support junior team members to assist engagement and development.
• Support technical due diligence commissions and acquisition surveys.
• Provide advice on defects, planned maintenance and building pathology.
• Act as project lead: manage instructions, client engagement and financials, and be a point of contact across the South West.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through service delivery and business development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across surveying, engineering, and other disciplines.
