Job summary

Altura Search is seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join the Bristol office, delivering high-quality building surveying services across residential, commercial and education sectors. This role involves a wide variety of projects plus CDM Principal Designer duties.

You will lead refurbishment and new-build projects, undertake surveys, prepare specifications, and advise on dilapidations, party walls and insurance claims, while ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with proven experience in professional and project-based surveying.
• Strong knowledge of construction, defects and contract administration.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Familiarity with CDM 2015; willing to support Principal Designer duties.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to work for a respected multidisciplinary property consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Building Surveying services across the residential, commercial, and education sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Bristol office. This is a key role offering involvement in a wide variety of projects, with some additional responsibility for CDM Principal Designer duties.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage refurbishment, maintenance, and new-build projects from inception to completion

Candidate Requirements

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
