Job summary

TSA Surveying Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join our established city team. The role covers both professional Building Surveying services and project management across public and private sector clients.

You will conduct building surveys, technical due diligence, dilapidations and schedules of condition, with opportunities to lead project management, contract administration and tender documentation from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification is required.
• Solid experience across professional Building Surveying services.
• Project management and/or contract administration experience.
• Strong technical surveying and reporting skills.
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.

Location: Bristol | Hybrid Working

We're currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its established Bristol team.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across both professional Building Surveying services and project management, supporting a diverse range of clients and projects across the South West.

The Role

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of instructions, including:

• Building surveys and technical due diligence
• Condition surveys and planned maintenance programmes
• Dilapidations and schedules of condition
• Defect diagnosis and technical reporting
• Project management and contract administration
• Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
• Procurement and contractor management
• Project delivery from inception through to completion
• Working with both public and private sector clients
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

The role offers genuine variety, with the opportunity to get involved in both professional services and project-led work, rather than being restricted to one particular area of Building Surveying.

About You

We’re looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with a strong technical background and experience within a consultancy environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• MRICS qualification

• Project management and/or contract administration experience
• Strong technical surveying and reporting skills
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities
• The ability to manage multiple instructions and projects
