Job summary

Sue Ryder Care is looking for a Shop Assistant to join our Cheltenham shop on a part-time basis. The role operates around a 22.5-hour week with weekend on- rota shifts, starting from 8:45am and finishing by 5:15pm.

This role supports the shop team, drives sales, and helps fund specialist palliative and end-of-life care. You will bring customer service skills and retail experience to provide excellent service to customers and donors, while helping to maintain merchandising standards and health &

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail experience required.
• Ability to maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Awareness of health & safety in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and income against targets.
• Provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Help build community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
• Champion the Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
