Job summary

Sue Ryder's Hull shop is seeking a Shop Assistant to help deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales and support community fundraising. The role covers tills, stock handling and maintaining shop standards within a busy charity environment.

You will contribute to campaigns, engage with donors, and help ensure a welcoming shopping experience across a well-stocked, high-appeal shop.

Qualifications

Minimum Essential Criteria: Customer Service Experience
Cash Handling/Till work
Basic IT skills (emails/instant messaging/video calls)
Organisational Skills
Lone working experience

Responsibilities

As Shop Assistant you will be using your skills and retail experience to help drive sales, income and performance against targets.
provide excellent service to customers and donors.
Help build strong community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
Support in maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
Support in managing stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh, seasonal and well presented.
Championing the Sue Ryder brand, in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
