Sue Ryder Care in Slough is seeking a Shop Assistant for a 22.5-hour-per-week, 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll support your manager and team, drive sales, and help generate income for our palliative care services, while championing reuse in our Sue Ryder shop.

The role involves providing excellent customer service, stock and merchandising duties, health and safety, and community engagement. Weekend rota, shifts start around 8:45am, with most days finishing by 5:15pm, plus Christmas and

• Experience in retail and customer service.
• Ability to maintain merchandising standards and handle stock.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Help build community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Support in maintaining high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Assist with stock management and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
• Champion the Sue Ryder brand during in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
