Job summary

Velindre University NHS Trust seeks a Charity Brand Manager to own and develop Velindre Charity brand and messaging across marketing channels, embedding a cohesive identity.

You will lead a creative team, plan campaigns, protect brand consistency, and grow digital presence engaging supporters and donors across Wales.

Working with fundraising and external partners, you will craft persuasive copy and drive revenue through events, products, and campaigns targeted to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and roll out Velindre Charity brand identity and messaging across social media, website, literature, newsletters, events and campaigns.
• Protect the Velindre Charity brand ensuring consistency and identifiability across all market streams with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and action the charity's brand, digital and communications strategy aligned to charity objectives and digital growth.
• Lead a creative team in planning, delivering, and measuring projects to drive revenue and reach.
• Plan and manage Velindre Charity's digital presence to engage supporters and grow the charity's following.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and capturing content reflecting activities, values and goals.
• Collaborate with Fundraising to market, recruit participants and promote events and products.
• Write influential copy for different audiences to engage charity activity and cause.
• Plan and roll charity marketing campaigns to raise awareness and funds, including regular giving and legacies.

Job description

The Charity Brand Manager is a critical role in the charity and will be responsible for owning, developing, and strategically sharing Velindre Charity's brand and messaging via multiple marketing and communication channels. You will be responsible for embedding a cohesive and engaging brand identity to create memorable and consistent branding and messaging across all touchpoints and content. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the online shop and merchandise/fashion opportunities.,

• Develop, maintain, and roll out Velindre Charity brand identity and messaging throughout multiple market routes. Including but not limited to social media, website, literature, charity newsletter, events, and campaigns.
• Protect the Velindre Charity brand, ensuring consistency and identifiability across all market streams, working with internal and external stakeholders monitoring the correct use of logos and messaging.
• Create and action the charities brand, digital and communications strategy, feeding into the overall charity objectives and growing the charity's reputation in the digital space.
• Lead a creative team in planning, delivering, and measuring effective projects to drive revenue and reach across multiple areas of the charity.
• Plan and manage Velindre Charity's digital presence to best reflect the charity, engage supporters and grow the charity's following.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and capturing content to reflect the charities activities, values, and goals.
• Work with the Fundraising Team to market, recruit participants and promote charity events and products.
• Write influential copy aimed at different target audiences to engage and drive interest in charity activity and cause.
• Plan and roll charity marketing campaigns to raise awareness and funds for the charity, including the promotion of regular giving and legacies.
