Freshwater recruitment are working with an International legal firm based in Central London to find a Change Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a pivotal role supporting a major transformation initiative across the firm, focused on embedding structured change, streamlining legal processes, and ensuring smooth adoption of new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of structured change management strategies and plans
• Engage and influence stakeholders across all levels to build support and drive change
• Conduct impact assessments across people, process, and technology
• Support compelling communication and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate on process mapping (As-Is / To-Be), identifying and closing efficiency gaps
• Implement governance structures to track progress and manage risks
• Anticipate and mitigate resistance through proactive planning
• Deliver key milestones on time and to a high standard
• Facilitate workshops and feedback loops to inform continuous improvement

Experience needed

• A mixed background in Project Management and hands on Change experience
• Extensive experience in structured change methodologies (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci)
• Strong project delivery experience, particularly in transformation settings
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to navigate partnership and matrix environments effectively
• Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel, process mapping and data visualisation tools
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the legal sector (a plus)
