Job summary

Digital First Change Manager - band 8A

12 month Fixed term contract or internal secondment

This role is a key part of the Digital First programme for Bromley primary care.

This transformation role works closely with Bromley GP Practices, PCNs, and One Bromley partners to deliver improvements in primary care through digital transformation. The postholder will lead Bromley's digital workstreams within the South East London ICB and be part of a network across SEL to share expertise, knowledge, and best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the high-impact delivery of digital transformation in Bromley's primary care.
  • Develop and mature a network of Digital Transformation Leads to maximize reach, scale, and adoption of digital technologies to improve services and patient outcomes.
  • Monitor the impact of digital initiatives and adjust strategies to meet project, programme, and strategic objectives.
  • Implement quality improvement approaches and build capacity for change within primary care and system-wide problem solving.

Interviews are expected to be held during the week commencing 2nd June 2025.

Person Specification:

Education / Qualifications (Essential):

  • Masters level education or equivalent senior experience
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Experience & Knowledge (Essential):

  • Experience coordinating projects in complex environments
  • Experience drafting briefing papers for senior audiences
  • Experience monitoring budgets and business planning
  • Healthcare environment experience
  • Extensive knowledge of change and programme management, e.g., Prince2
  • Understanding of current healthcare policy in London

Skills and Abilities (Essential):

  • Ability to analyze complex issues from multiple sources
  • Knowledge of financial systems and project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
