Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Assistant Manager in CFO Solutions to lead client accounting projects across diverse industries. You’ll manage teams on and off site, deliver technical and non-technical accounting work, and mentor colleagues to elevate performance.

You will also deliver high-quality financial reporting, including management and year-end packs, and support clients through changes in accounting standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering accountancy projects, including management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Experience of preparing or overseeing consolidations.
• Experience of leading or supervising a team.
• Experience of reviewing financial processes and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for working with clients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects and provide accountancy, advisory and project management support.
• Oversee on- and off-site teams delivering accounting projects and teaching others.
• Deliver and review statutory accounts preparation and consolidations.
