Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Manager in CFO Solutions to lead the delivery of finance services for a varied client portfolio, shaping a service built on Xero and automation. You will develop people and ensure high-quality delivery.

You’ll manage client work, review accounts and VAT, and guide the team on resourcing, billing and governance while driving continuous improvement and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering outsourced accounting or finance services.
• Experience of reviewing technical work and managing the risks that come with it.
• Experience of leading and developing a team, including resourcing and scheduling.
• Experience with Xero and related apps.
• Excellent client and colleague communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on client work and manage a portfolio of clients.
• Plan and coordinate client work, staffing, budgets, and timelines.
• Set up more complex clients and guide the team where needed.
• Review management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and related files.
• Play a key role implementing Xero and related apps on client assignments.
• Contribute to proposals and departmental marketing.
• Build your network across Grant Thornton member firms.
