Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Finance Consulting Manager to lead client engagements and drive delivery across finance functions. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to practice development.

You will use accounting expertise and problem-solving skills to uncover root causes, design pragmatic solutions, and guide client teams through change in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA or CIPFA qualification with post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record managing multiple senior stakeholders across concurrent engagements.
• Strong commercial mindset balancing client needs, engagement economics and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects, typically two at a time, and act as key lead with guidance from Directors/Partners.
• Build internal and external networks and generate opportunities as you progress.
• Uncover root causes of client issues and translate into compelling propositions.
• Collaborate across CFO Solutions, Consulting and wider firm to bring the right capability to clients.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders including CFOs/FDs and manage expectations of senior colleagues.
• Own quality, compliance and risk matters; manage engagement budgets and timelines.
