Job summary

Siemens Software in London is seeking an Application Engineer to advance CFD and AI-driven simulation across aerospace, energy, automotive and marine sectors. You will handle CFD tasks from CAD to post-processing and apply AI/ML capabilities within Simcenter STAR-CCM+ to accelerate design exploration, grounded in sound physics.

You will train customers, develop best practices, and demonstrate solutions at seminars. The role is hybrid with regular London office presence.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related science.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Occasional travelling.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand their engineering workflows and propose solution methodologies and best practices.
• Apply CFD across CAD handling, meshing, solving, complex physics modelling, post-processing and coupling to other codes.
• Leverage AI/ML-driven capabilities within Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for automation and surrogate modelling.
• Conduct training courses and customised mentoring.
• Present our technology at seminars and conferences.
