Job summary

PhysicsX Ltd. is building an AI-driven CAE stack to accelerate hardware innovation and design optimization.

The CFD Engineer (Delivery) will join a founding-like regional team in London, working closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and customers to deliver high-fidelity simulations and scalable workflows. You’ll build and adapt CFD models, contribute to automation, and support on-site engagements with occasional travel across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Growing foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and multiphase modelling.
• Working knowledge of Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or Fluent.
• Exposure to parametric CAD modelling (NX or CATIA) and coding in Python/Java.

Responsibilities

• Build models from geometry clean-up and meshing through to simulation and post-processing for simple to moderate cases with senior guidance.
• Adapt parametric CAD models (NX/CATIA) and contribute to simulation pipeline automation for design optimization and DoE studies.
• Support customer-facing work by preparing and presenting results under senior guidance and progress toward independent delivery.
