Job summary

PhysicsX in London is building an AI-driven simulation stack for engineering and manufacturing. You will construct high-fidelity multi-physics models, validate against data, and work with customers on-site to deliver impactful AI-enabled solutions.

You’ll bring deep expertise in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and CFD–DEM workflows, with Star-CCM+/OpenFOAM/Fluent and DEM tools like EDEM or LIGGGHTS. Hybrid London office awaits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with multiphysics CFD and DEM coupling.
• Strong automation using Python for simulation pipelines.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build complex multi-physics models from geometry to validation.
• Develop and validate DEM models for granular systems.
• Create parametric CAD models and automate design workflows.
• Collaborate with customers to address engineering challenges.
• Generate high-quality simulation datasets for ML surrogates.
• Mentor junior colleagues and travel to work on-site with customers.
