Siemens Software, within the Digital Industries group, seeks a Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Presales Solution Consultant to lead pre-sales activities, deliver technical demonstrations, and showcase STAR-CCM+ fluid and thermal solutions. Position Overview

As a Simcenter STAR-CCM+ Presales Solution Consultant, you will be a pivotal member of our Software Sales organization, leading the charge in demonstrating the power of Simcenter STAR-CCM+. Your primary focus will be on securing new customer engagements and expanding our footprint within existing accounts by leveraging your deep technical expertise in CFD.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities, technical demonstrations, and compelling use cases for STAR-CCM+ fluid and thermal solutions
• Support sales teams with technical expertise and serve as the primary technical contact for customer consultations and key accounts
• Mentor team members on simulation best practices and technical approaches while contributing to knowledge sharing across the organization
• Understand customer R&D, design, and development workflows to position solutions effectively across multiple industries
• Build and maintain customer relationships while driving growth within the pre-sales and technical delivery teams

Qualifications

• experience with STAR-CCM+ or equivalent fluid and thermal simulation software
• Proven experience in a pre‑sales, technical consulting, customer engineering, or related technical support role at a software OEM
• Alternatively: Experience as a user of STAR-CCM+ at a company
• Deep knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermal simulation concepts, applications, and industry best practices
• Ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ready to travel regularly to customer sites and the London office (approximately once every two weeks)

Our Benefits & Rewards

The total cash compensation range for this position is £62.700 to £125.400 with 30 % of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
