Trident Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Centreless Grinder to set and operate grinding machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances in Birmingham.

You will set and operate centreless grinding machines, perform through-feed, in-feed and plunge grinding, inspect parts with precision measuring equipment, and adjust settings to maintain surface finish.

The role offers a day shift and a rate of up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

Formación

• Reading engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to operate and adjust grinding machines.

Responsabilidades

• Set and operate centreless grinding machines.
• Carry out through-feed, in-feed and plunge grinding.
• Undertake precision centreless bar grinding.
• Produce multiple-diameter components using centreless form grinding.
• Carry out taper grinding.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
