Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Manual Universal Grinder to join a precision engineering environment in the UK. You will set and operate manual grinding machines and read engineering drawings to produce high-precision components.

The role is Monday to Friday, day shift, with overtime and benefits. Based in South Birmingham or surrounding areas, the ideal candidate will have proven manual grinding experience and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual universal grinding machines in a precision environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Proficient with micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators and verniers.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate manual universal grinding machines.
• Carry out cylindrical, internal and external grinding to tight tolerances.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
