Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Security Controller to support centre management in Glasgow. You will monitor CCTV, building management systems and health & safety procedures, ensuring incidents are logged and escalated appropriately.

You will supervise Customer Service Officers, control access and assist with evacuations, while maintaining high standards of presentation and professional communication.

Qualifications

• SIA Security Licence and CCTV Licence required.
• Reliable, well-presented with excellent people skills.
• Ability to work in a team, or alone under Centre Management.
• Calm under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as ambassador of the centre, delivering excellent customer service.
• Monitor CCTV and building systems, logging and reporting as needed.
• Control access, evacuations and emergency procedures in coordination with management.
• Maintain radio communications and log staff attendance and keys.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
