Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager (Technical) in Grantham to lead the autocentre team, drive customer satisfaction, and manage performance. You will oversee daily operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and coach staff to achieve sales KPIs.

The role offers full-time hours at a busy autocentre with uncapped bonus potential and progression opportunities within Halfords' automotive service network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive or similar service teams.
• Proven track record in customer satisfaction and team development.
• Coaching-based leadership with ability to train on the job.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety standards.
• Strong sales and KPI management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with in-house systems and basic IT tools.
• Good time management and organisation.
• Holder of a valid driving licence.

• On-target earnings up to £50,448
• Comprising a base salary of £41,048
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £9,400 per year.
• 5 days a week (this centre is closed on Sundays)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI's
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
