Halfords is seeking a Centre Manager in Bicester to lead the autocentre team and deliver outstanding customer journeys. You will drive performance, coach staff, and ensure high standards of service in a fast-growing automotive business.

The role offers a base salary of £40,000–£44,278 with an uncapped monthly bonus averaging around £11,500 per year, plus extensive benefits and progression opportunities. This centre operates five days a week, closed Sundays.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management in automotive or similar industry.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and effective management.
• Coaching-based approach to team development and in‑the‑moment training.
• Experience meeting Health & Safety standards and compliance.
• Experience managing high sales turnover and KPIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literacy with willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management and organisational abilities.
• Current valid driving licence.

• On-target earnings up to £55,778
• Comprising a base salary of £40,000 - £44,278
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,500 per year.
• 5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays)

Skills and experience

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI’s
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management
• A current valid driving licence
