Job summary

Halfords Openshaw centre in Greater Manchester is seeking a Centre Manager - Technical to lead a team, drive the customer journey and deliver strong performance in automotive service.

You will manage operations five days a week with a focus on safety, KPI delivery and coaching; a passion for customer experience and progression through training schemes is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Fantastic leadership and team management skills within the automotive or similar industry.
• Experience delivering high customer satisfaction and displaying effective management.
• Engaging and motivational, coaching-based approach to team development and able to provide in the moment training.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
• Experienced with high sales turnover and managing KPI's.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
• IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
• Good time management.
• A current valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
• Drive business performance and KPI attainment across the autocentre.
• Coach and develop staff to maintain high standards and compliance.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and audits are passed.
• Manage high sales turnover while sustaining customer satisfaction.

• On-target earnings up to £51,366
• Comprising a base salary of £39,766
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,600 per year.
• 5 days a week (this centre is closed on Sundays)
