Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a proactive candidate to join a busy automotive retail centre. You will deliver excellent customer service, manage a Centre and oversee MOT testing to DVSA standards, while driving sales and maintaining high vehicle service quality.

The role requires an MOT Tester licence and experience in a motor vehicle environment, with flexibility to manage workloads and light team leadership. Centre-based work with ongoing training opportunities is available.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to tasks and workload management.
• Proven experience in a busy retail environment in a motor vehicle setting.
• Experience in management within the motor vehicle sector would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive the best service and care, keeping complaints to a minimum.
• Achieve all sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services offered by the company.
• Recruit and interview all centre employees.
• All MOT Testers must hold a valid DVSA MOT Tester licence.
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input details into the DVSA system.
• Fit products to customer vehicles and carry out ancillary services.
• Identify training needs for employees to progress within the company.
• Support other centres when required.
• Adhere to company policies including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control.
• Follow management instructions.
