Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a busy automotive retail Centre. You will deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure MOT testing compliance. The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and a background in automotive retail management.

You will report to the Regional Manager and work a Monday–Sunday rota with core hours aligned to business needs. Salary is dependent on experience, with benefits as described.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be a flexible team player with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience in a busy retail environment within the automotive sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive excellent service and that complaints are minimised.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs for the centre.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and its equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services offered by the company.
• Recruit and interview all Centre employees.
• Ensure MOT testers hold a DVSA licence and conduct tests accordingly.
• Carry out DVSA-mandated MOT testing and input results into the DVSA system.
• Fit products to customer vehicles and provide related services.
• Identify training needs and support development within the team.
• Support other Centres when required.
• Adhere to company policies, safety, compliance and stock control.
