Job summary

Webrecruit seeks an experienced Centre Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a busy automotive retail environment. You will ensure exceptional customer service, achieve sales targets, and manage the Centre and its staff. A valid DVSA MOT Tester licence is essential, with the ability to mentor and recruit.

You will drive performance, maintain health and safety, and coordinate with Head Office to ensure brand standards are met across the Centre and its personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy retail environment in automotive settings.
• Excellent communicator with a flexible approach.
• Ability to manage own workload and team.
• Experience in management within motor vehicle sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive excellent service and complaints are minimised.
• Meet all sales targets and KPI’s.
• Maintain cleanliness of Centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products/services per company procedures.
• Recruit and interview Centre staff.
• All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence issued by DVSA.
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input into the DVSA system.
• Fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services.
• Identify training needs for employees to progress within the company.
• Support other Centres when needed.
• Adhere to company policies, health & safety, compliance and stock control.
• Follow management instructions.
• Keep uniform clean and presentable at all times.
• Liaise with Head Office and other departments.
