Job summary

Webrecruit in Crawley is seeking a Centre Manager with automotive retail experience to lead a busy centre. You will ensure top customer service, drive sales, manage staff, and oversee MOT testing to DVSA standards. You will recruit, train, and support teams while maintaining centre presentation and safety compliance.

The role reports to the Regional Manager and involves a flexible, hands-on approach with responsibility for performance across the centre. NO AGENCIES PLEASE.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
• Able to manage own workload and communicate effectively.
• MOT testing knowledge and DVSA licence holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and keep complaints to a minimum.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
• Increase sales of products and services offered by the Company.
• Recruit and interview centre staff.
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input results.
• Fit products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services.
• Identify training needs and support other centres when required.
